Environmentally Stable 100 GHz Hybrid Mode-locked Burst-mode Fiber Laser with Enhanced Autocorrelation Contrast

By the combined usage of a sigma-type fiber cavity, 100GHz etalon filtering, and active amplitude modulation, an environmentally stable 100 GHz burst-mode Er-doped fiber laser with excellent autocorrelation contrast is demonstrated for the first time.
