Research on The Design of Terminal for EV DC Charging Coupler

The DC charging can achieve rapid energy supply of electric vehicles. The performance of the DC charging coupler is a crucial factor for the safety and reliability of DC charging. This paper focus on the test and research of the DC charging coupler in the terminal configuration, metal-coated material and crimping type, a detailed comparative study of the different terminal design has been made, and gives the advise of the design selection for the terminal of the DC charging coupler. The results are useful for the design of EV DC Charging Coupler and the revise of correlative standards.
