A Method to Model Soil Structure Based on the Randomness and Fractality of Soil Pore

Recently, extensive researches had been carried out on soil impedance characteristic under lighting impulse current, and obtained some variation laws on soil impedance. For applying fractal theory to study soil electrical conductivity, this paper proposed a method to simulate soil structure based on its randomness and fractality. Considering soil structure irregularity, a certain randomness were introduced to both iteration graphics and process when establishing Random Pore Fractal(RPF) model. Initial Dimension, Iterations, Parameter Controlling the Disorderliness of Iterative Unit(PDIU) and Parameter for Gathering Pore(PGP) were important parameters to control the conformity between real soil structure and its model, of which the Initial Dimension and Iterations were determined by the maximum particle size, the PDIU and PGP were adjusted according to the characteristics of porosity and pore distribution. RPF model could be used to build a more realistic soil structure model, and could be applied to the study of soil micro-conductivity, which had a certain engineering significance in fractal studies relevant to Soil Physics.
