Control System for Deposit Safe

This paper describes the development cycle of the hardware and software for an electronic control unit of the deposit safe. An electronics is based on the Atmel AVR ATmega 128 processor enabling both hardware and software configuration. We describe process of design, testing and configuration of the deposit safe. Adding new peripherals, e.g. the RFID card reader, or adding new functions, e.g. the double protection using the card and password, both require the intensive testing and checking of the new software versions. To make all the tests easier, we used first the proprietary C-code program, later it was moved to the Control Web design system.
