Conversion of a serial line assembly into a cellular structure

The article presents the transformation of the assembly line into production cells together with making a simple simulation experiment. The article discusses the concept of assembly lines with cellular structure (production cells) along with the Japanese example of such a concept. A simple simulation experiment was also conducted to examine the effects of the process of transforming the assembly line into production cells.
