Application of Fuzzy PID Controller on the Interconnection Inverter for Electricity Cluster Oriented Network System

This paper aims to create a dynamic model of ECON and Fuzzy PID controller to level the frequency, voltage and state of charge of the two clusters. The model will consist of two clusters that will be interconnected by an interconnection inverter, wind generating system, three phase ac source, and the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) which will act as the main supply source of each clusters. Mainly, the Fuzzy PID Controller will be used instead of the PID Controller to utilize the required parameters because of its good characteristics in nonlinear systems. Models for computer simulations will be carried out by Simulink and the dynamic properties to level frequency, voltage, and state of charge in different cases will be presented. Difference between with and without interconnection was also compared using statistical T-test. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of Fuzzy PID controller in leveling the frequency, voltage and state of charge of the two interconnected clusters.
