The role of big data in a connected environment Case study: smart city

Recently data have been growing in an exponential way due to the evolution of technology and the emergence of internet. The apparition of 5G in 2020 will extremely increase the rate of data growth. Moreover the analytics of big data will be necessary, the results of big data analysis might be employed in different aspects of our daily lives and make it much easier. Understanding the data generated by sensors or mobile phones will help to know better citizens behavior, in order to develop a range of useful applications that can facilitate the individual's life in the community. This paper discusses the different types of data collected in a smart city managed by mobile networking it will put the light on the data classifications in mobile networking and will identify priority data.
