A Calculation Method for Aerosol Mass Based on Counting Method

The Conception of mass subset was advanced firstly. Then the measurement principle foundation of aerosol mass was given starting from the function of aerosol number mass distribution. Using sieve method as the example, the comparability between aerosol equivalent diameter and volume of aerosol mass subset was analysed. Based on this, the function relation between aerosol mass and aerosol equivalent diameter distribution was established, which can be extended to the other process of measuring equivalent diameters based on counting method. All these can provide the theory foundation for aerosol mass measurement model founded on the counting method.
