Intermittent Finite-Time Control for Consensus of Coupled Kuramoto Oscillators

This work is devoted to finite-time control problem of some sinusoidally coupled Kuramoto oscillators with intermittent controller design, where the coupling strength is assumed to be time-dependent. It is reveals that synchronization is still achievable in finite time when the controller is assigned a changeable gain. Especially, when a specified time-varying control, on-off control, is in concern, phase synchronization is guaranteed in finite time if all oscillators have identical natural frequencies. Numerical simulations are given to demonstrate the validity of our theory.
