Label-free Detection of Dopamine Using Aptamer Enhanced Organic-Electrolyte Gated FET Sensor

In this work we implemented low cost, organic transistors for biosensory application. The sensor is fabricated primarily at low temperatures and atmospheric pressures using additive manufacturing steps and implemented as Aptamer enhanced Organic Electrolyte Gated Field Effect Transistors (OEGFETs), for detection of vital small molecules in fluid samples. To characterize the OEGFET performance, we collected I-V transfer curves of the transistor with different electrolytic solutions, with and without immobilized aptamers.
