Time-Sensitive Network Technology and Its Application in Energy Internet

In recent years, the development of time-sensitive network has attracted considerable attention of industries. Some international organizations of standardization are speeding up the development of time-sensitive network standards. Time-sensitive network is characterized by low jitter, low delay and deterministic transmission. It is suitable for scenarios with a high demand for transmission delay, especially for the development of energy internet. In this article, we briefly describe the core characteristics of the internet of things, the research progress of the key mechanisms, and the applications of time-sensitive networks in some areas of energy internet. Meanwhile, combining with typical application cases of energy internet, we provide a new construction idea for the future development of the internet of things.
