Complex Electromagnetic Jamming Environment Cognition for Modern Phased Array Radar

This paper presents electromagnetic jamming signal generation model and jamming mechanism based on signal processing theory which used to destroy of phased array radar multi-task modes in complex electromagnetic environment. According to the work mode and task waveforms of the phased array radar, the frequency-shift and delay variable width frequency-shift were established and used to countermeasure the unordinary waveforms used to gain amount, position of geometry center and target characteristics and et al. To overcome the weakness of classical noise blanket jamming technology, a novel smart noise convolution jamming is provided which is based on DRFM due to the increasing of the anti-jamming ability of some new radar system. Experimental result showed the jamming pattern can effectively improve the performance of the radar jamming compared with the traditional methods and make the jamming technology more feasible and practical.
