On the Formation of Field of Sound Intensity in the Shallow Sea Conditions

The paper considers the mathematical and physical prerequisites for the emergence of local vortex structures of an intensity vector field of sound waves in a shallow sea, represented by a plane-parallel regular waveguide. The waveguide is insonified by a two-frequency source of harmonic type with small wave dimensions. As a result, the general possibility of the vortex regions formation of the intensity field in a water-filled waveguide with combined boundaries has been established, taking into account the peculiarities of applying the superposition principle for the sound field power flows under the conditions of a idealized two-frequency sound source.
