A New Feature Extraction Method for Medical Images Integrity Verification

With the development of multimedia and communication technologies in domains like telemedicine, it's critical to determine whether an medical image has been modified by some processing. In this paper we propose a new feature extraction method for blind integrity verification. Derivatives of the input image are computed first and then these derivative images are used to extract features. Besides, previous works mainly pay attention to the medical image modification based on global image processing methods. In this paper, we focus on local and global image processing detection. MURA dataset and 7 image processing methods are used to evaluate the proposed method and experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
