A Running Strategy on Generating the Intersecting Information by Ray Tracing for the FDTD Method

Intersecting information by ray tracing represents the positions of intersecting points along with their "entry" or "exit" attribute along each ray, which is a precondition of the structured mesh generation for the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. We propose and illustrate a running strategy on generating the intersecting information, by which ordered and useful intersecting information can be generated with the running of the ray-tracing procedure. Several numerical experiments show the advantages of the proposed running strategy.
