Model experimental investigation on slamming load of high-speed M-boat

In this study, according to similar theory, we designed and manufactured a test model of high-speed M-boat with a scale ratio of λ= 1:5, and carried out the towing tank slamming test to research the change law of the vertical acceleration at the center of gravity and the slamming pressure on the bottom of the boat under different conditions of regular wave and irregular wave. This study discussed the influence of wave length on vertical acceleration at center of gravity, analyzed the size and distribution of the slamming pressure on the bottom of the ship at different speeds, and compared the actual ship acceleration and supported the subsequent structural design.
