Modeling and Analysis of Slow Varying Troposcatter Channel

For troposcatter communication, signals at receiver end are influenced from multipath fading as well as delay spread which are characterised by Rayleigh distribution. In this paper linear time variant (LTV) troposcatter channel is simulated as snapshot mode (Linear Time Invariant (LTI) channel) in time domain by using Tapped Delay Line (TDL) model with adjustable tap gains. A typical troposcatter channel analysed with QPSK signal on the basis of Bit Error Rate (BER). Furthermore effect of parameters i.e. delays spread and Doppler shift are analysed for a typical troposcatter communication link.
