Multiple Observer with Applications to Landing in Lateral-Directional Plane

The paper deals with the design of a new full-order multiple observer for Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy systems; the aim is to estimate both the state and the unknown inputs in the case of airplanes' landing in lateral-directional plane. Simplicity, the lack of constraints, as well as the avoidance of the pole placement technique are the strong points of the new observer; also, the effectiveness of the observer is high due to the fact that it is software implemented with commercially available software and because of its important degrees of design freedom and generality. The purpose of the new observer will be both the state vector and the unknown inputs' estimation. For validation, the new algorithm is software implemented for the landing process in lateral-directional plane.
