A mechatronic experimental system for control of fluid level in LabVIEW

A sequential closed-loop control system based on a hybrid P-correction is applied to maintain the desired setpoint level at leakages and to follow a prescribed series of time-varying reference levels. Mathematical models of the two configurations of the investigated hydraulic control system are implemented using LabVIEW virtual instruments. As a result, there are identified approximate characteristics of the system parameters as well as time histories of the process variable converging to reference set-points. Reference input, being introduced to evaluate the effectiveness and robustness of the regulation of level height with periodic intakes of water.
