The Mission of ERC

The ERC (European Research Council) has a specific mission in the plethora of science-oriented activities initiated and governed by the European Commission. This presentation sheds light on the essence of ERC, its vision, and its mechanisms that are available to scientists all over Europe, including Montenegro. Advices are given, especcially to young scientists, on how to prepare proposals for ERC grants, and specific case studies are discussed, related to successful small countries.
