Building Heuristic Scheduler for One-Machine Network Function Scaling

This article addresses a problem of building heuristic scheduler for effective VNF (virtual network function) scaling in multicore environment. The problem considers unknown input packet flow pattern and intensity as well as unknown VNF functionality. Step by step building is shown at NFF-GO framework example.
