Simulation of Low-Pass Filter Circuit Based on Tiox-Based Memristive Device

The traditional Resistance-Capacitance (RC) low-pass filter (LPF) circuit is a common analog filter. Its amplitude and frequency characteristics only depend on the composition of the circuit, while the LPF circuit based on memristive device has the characteristics of frequency selection. In this work, a novel SPICE model for the memristor device is built based on boundary migration theory, and an analytical current-voltage equation is derived with separating variables method. Further, the second-order Memristor-Capacitance (MC) LPF circuit based on the TiOx-based memristive device is simulated and analyzed by using SPICE software under excitation signals of different frequency, simulation results indicate that the LPF circuit has excellent low-frequency signal gating characteristics.
