Methane Leak Detection Using Chirped Laser Dispersion Spectroscopy

We present a real-time chirped laser dispersion spectrometer capable of distinguishing path-averaged methane leaks 0 to 8 ppm above the ∼ppm background methane level using low reflectivity (down to 0.01%) surfaces 50 m away. © 2019 The Author(s)
