Numerical Analysis of a Rotor Axis Stability with a Passive Magnetic Bearing System

The article presents the results of modelling the characteristics of passive magnetic bearings. Bearings composed of one or three ring magnet systems were considered. The forces of centring the magnets against each other and axial force repelling magnets are analysed. The simulations performed the function of the mutual position of the magnet rings, taking into account the change of the displacement parameter in the direction of the z and r axes and the angle of displacement between the planes of the rings.
