Model Preparation Algorithm for 3D Printing with Discrete Rotation

Today, 3D printing is one of the most progressive and promising industries on the market. Now, there are a number of problems associated with printing on printers using FDM technology, such as the availability of support, insufficient product durability, product quality in support areas. These problems could be solved by the increase in the number of degrees of freedom of the printer. But to control the process, it is also necessary to develop a software for multi-axis printers. The article discusses solutions for software development on the example of one of the algorithms. The algorithm will allow printing at a gradually changing angle, depending on the inclination, turns of the product model, which allowed getting rid of supports, and increase the quality of the product.
