Modeling Message Spoofing Attacks on the OLSR Routing Protocol

Message spoofing is a common type of network attacks on routing protocols in self-organizing networks. In this paper, a descriptive model of this type of attacks on messages of the proactive routing protocol OLSR was proposed. Simulation of the attacks described was performed on the basis of the popular network simulator ns-3. In conclusion, the paper analyzes the stability of various modifications of the OLSR protocol to the distortions of service messages of this protocol.
