Effect of Electrode Pressure on Neuromuscular Signals During Hand Movements

This paper investigates the effect of the electrode system pressure on recording such neuromuscular signals as bioimpedance, electromyographic and mechanomyographic signals. During experiments neuromuscular signals were registered while the subject was performing wrist movements, each time pressing force of the electrode system increased. After analyzing received signals, features of the method of joint signals recording for solving problems of prosthesis controlling were described, and the interrelations between the pressing force of the electrode system and neuromuscular signals were established.
