Experimental Study on Underwater Wireless Power Transfer with Degree of Free Position Inside the Coils

It is difficult to transfer the power wirelessly under sea because seawater have high conductivity. We decide transfer frequency under the sea and design the wireless power transfer system with multiple coils. We measure inductance, Q and coupling coefficient of coils. We verify the transmitting efficiency by changing the receiving coil position on the central axis of the transmitting coils. Also, we confirm position free wireless power transfer system under the sea.
