Magnetic Memory Signal Spectrum Analysis and Simulation of 25CrMo4 Steel under Static Force

The high-speed and heavy-duty characteristics of high-speed trains have gradually put forward higher requirements for their safety. The rapid detection and early warning of tread failures are essential issues to ensure the safe operation of high-speed trains. In order to realize the detection of early failure on wheelsets of high-speed trains, the influence of stress on magnetic memory signal of - the material of trains' wheelsets - 25CrMo4 steel was researched based on metal magnetic memory detection method. The combination of experimental analysis and simulation was used to analyze the distributional stress on the plate of 25CrMo4. Through experimental analysis, it is found that the magnetic memory signal of the material increases with the increase of stress, the high value region moves with the change of stress distribution. Moved from the distance of 2 mm from the clamping area to 12 mm. The bandwidth of effective component in frequency of the magnetic memory signal has decreased with the increasing stress. Reduced from 10 Hz to 5 Hz wide, when the highest frequency is 50 Hz. The signal obtained by ANSYS simulation also conforms to the variation law of the experimental signal, and the noise influence of the simulated signal is insignificantly more, which has a more obvious indicative relationship. Through the comparison between simulation and experimental research results, the correspondence between simulation and measured signals is established, which has practical application value.
