Development of a Novel DC Electricity Meter Based on New Electronic Current Transformer

A DC electricity meter for electric vehicle charging pile is developed. The performance parameters and working principle of the meter are introduced, and the software and hardware circuits of the meter are designed; the error data and the power loss using new electronic current transformer and shunt under different loads are tested. It can be seen from the experimental results and market analysis that the accuracy of the DC electricity meter is superior to the traditional DC electricity meter, and it has good economic and application prospects.
