Power system analysis using SKM power tools

The size and complexity of modern power systems impose significant challenges in the power system analysis, control and management of the system. SKM Power Tools software [1] is used to accurately simulate real events that occur in an electrical power network to easily understand the dynamics of any changes made to the network. This paper will be examining the use of the SKM Power Tools software, by SKM Systems Analysis Inc., to perform a power system analysis in a project involving upgrade of an existing power distribution system.
