Abstract:

Many online community systems, such as Twitter and Facebook, have rapidly expanded the social network in which people live. However, constructing such a system is not easy for developers. Thus, it is essential to provide a platform allowing developers to quickly construct an online community system. In this paper, we present a platform, DoOC, which can automatically and quickly construct an online community system. Given the information of a domain and some configuration information, DoOC extracts a label set of the domain and then constructs the online community system based on this label set. DoOC also applies a dynamic community detection algorithm to the community system, which considers both the label attributes of user nodes and the topological structure of social networks. DoOC is applied through the movie scenario to show its usability and efficiency.
