Design and Implementation of a Virtual Multimeter in the EVEEE Environment

The use of virtual reality in electrical engineering education provides a wide range of advantages, such as reduced costs for expensive equipment, increased interactivity and experimentation. This study is aimed at the design and implementation of a virtual multimeter in the EVEEE environment, which provides all basic measuring function: AC/DC voltage, AC/DC current, resistance, capacitance and frequency. The equivalent circuit and each function is explained in details, considering the engine specifics. The testing of the implemented equipment showed that it measures the necessary quantities without error.
