Experimental Laboratory Model of a Fish Ladder Used in the Small Hydropower Plants

This paper presents an experimental laboratory model of an open channel to be used for the study of the hydraulic behavior of different types of fish ladders. The paper describes the way the scale of the model was chosen, the calibration of the channel for different flow rates and the possibilities which this physical model can offer in the study of fish ladders.
