Implementation of Prototype for Detection & Diagnosis of Cotton Leaf Diseases using Rule Based System for Farmers

In a research relating to identify and diagnose diseases, the pattern of disease is an important part. Generally most of diseases are seen on the leaves, flowers and fruits in cotton plant. The proposed work is towards the identification and diagnosis of cotton leaf diseases. The work embodies the development of prototype android mobile application using template matching techniques. The images required for the android application are captured from various cotton farms in the Vidharbha region. By use of internet connecting smart phones farmers can easily identify the diseases on the cotton crop. The proposed system detects the patterns of disease in their early stage.
