Passive Integrations for Г-Z Source & DAB DC-AC Bidirectional Converter

In order to increase the stability and improve the transfer efficiency of PV (Photovoltaic) micro-inverter, match the requirement of grid and achieve a clean energy, a novel topology is put forward which consists one ⌈-Z source boost converter, one DAB (dual-active bridge) converter for DC to DC, one inverter with LCL filter, and one DAB converter for battery. Furthermore, two integrated units for ⌈-Z source and LCL filter with planar PCB (printed circuit board) integration technique, and one integrated unit for two DAB converters with FMLF (flexible multi-layer foil) integration technique are proposed to reduce the volume and weight of the novel topology. Moreover, the parameter design of the FMLF integrated unit is underlined. And one prototype is built to prove the feasibility of the proposed ideas for a 400 W novel topology.
