Hybrid Testing Environment of Execution Testing and Model Checking for Product Line Approach

A hybrid testing environment of execution testing and model checking is proposed against difficulty of regression test for consumer products on product line approach. On the environment, we can execute black/white box and deterministic/non-deterministic tests on same test case with several inspection conditions described in LTL (Linear Temporal Logic) automatically. The test environment was implemented and applied to the regression tests for a component in HVAC systems. As the results of the examination, we were succeeded in detecting faults, which we could not detect through the legacy testing processes and environment.
