Nonlinear interaction length for transmissions based on subcarrier multiplexing

This paper describes the Kerr limitations for transmission systems based on the Sub Carrier Modulation in terms of nonlinear interaction length. Performance comparison is reported for different OFDM, SCM and single carrier systems with results obtained by the comparison between simulation and theory.
