Fractional Nonlinear Synergetic Control based MPPT Algorithm for PV System

This paper presents a robust Fractional Nonlinear Synergetic (FNSC) based MPPT algorithm for a PV system to track the maximum power with high dynamic response and faster convergent to the maximum power point. Different macro variables for a synergetic control compared to use the most efficient one to be applied to fractional operators. Also, the effect of changing the fractional value of the controller based fractional operator was observed. A comparison between the proposed MPPT with NSC, SMC and P&O MPPTs has been done using Matlab/Simulink environment to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
