Fluid Structure Interaction Simulation Study of Travelling Wave Valve-less Micro Pump in Fluid Delivery

The purpose of this article is to carry out a simulation study of travelling wave valve less micropump in fluid delivery. Micropump is a pump that can precisely transport micro volume of fluid. Some micropump works with micro valves to achieve high efficiency. However, due to the repeating loading and unloading, bending and unbending, the valve may face fatigue failure especially the valve that has small cross section area. Therefore, valve less micropump has come into the picture to avoid the above-mentioned failure. Nowadays, micropump is focusing on transporting therapeutics agents into the patients and also used in cooling application in microelectronics devices. In future, there will be more applications for micropump as the development of technology is rising. Therefore, there is an essential to understand the working principle and improve the currently available micropumps. This paper is demonstrating through fluid solid interaction simulation through Nozzle and diffuser effect and study the relationship between the microchannel's height and the flow rate.
