A Novel Algorithm for Distributed Control of Conveyor Systems

This paper presents a novel conveyor control algorithm trying to achieve higher product throughput and better storage capacity while using the available distance of motor movement and higher computational power of the available conveyor control modules, affordable prices of cameras and higher available network bandwidth. The idea is to gather as much useful information as possible and to make the most of it.
