Seasonal decomposition application for the energy consumption analysis of cities

In this paper is considered the possibility of analyzing energy consumption time series in Moscow using the seasonal decomposition methodology. The values obtained deseasonalizing row allows to develop predictive model of electricity consumption in Moscow, with the aim of further decisions in the field of energy saving, energy efficiency and also provide an opportunity to assess the extent of meteorological factors impact on the power consumption structure of city, including in the context of climate change.
