Excitation Bessel Beams Designed for High Resolution and Wide-Field Live Imaging

We explore generating subwavelength non-diffracting Bessel beams with long focal depths by means of custom-designed metasurfaces. The excitation approach can achieve live imaging with a high axial resolution and an ultra-wide field of view.
