Discrete-Time Large-Signal Modeling and Numerical Methods for Flyback Converters

-order state-space model is presented for a flyback converter. The state-space model is used to predict the dynamic behavior of a flyback converter in simulation. Computation time is reduced by calculating the matrix exponential using a decomposition method and by quickly estimating switching times every period to avoid overly reducing the time step in simulation.
