Diamond-like film encapsulated fibers for long-length fiber grating production

We have developed a process to deposit a thin uniform layer of diamond-like film onto optical fibers. This UV-transparent film protects the fiber during the fiber grating inscription and maintains the geometry of the fiber so long length gratings can be fabricated.
