Considerations on the Numerical Modeling of the Induction Heating Process Using the Elta and Flux 2D Software

This study presents, based on our research of literature in the field, the main aspects regarding the induction heating process using specific equipment, as well as the current trends in the assisted design of these equipment. In addition, the study also presents the results of simulating the process of annealing a knife made of OLC45 material, using the commercial software ELTA and FLUX 2D. Finally, we present the results obtained for a series of simulations performed with the help of the two software mentioned above.
