9 Distributed Internet Governance: Private Authority and International Order

At this writing, the international community is going through a set of debates over distributed governance of the Internet and its future management. At the same time, there are emergent contentions over norms governing use of cyber venues in international relations. This chapter is about governance matters, based on recent collaboration.
