Reliability Analysis of Clock Source of Railway Time Synchronization Network Based on SPN

Railway time synchronization network is an important part of railway communication network. It provides unified and standard time information for railway system. As the timing reference signal source of railway time synchronization network, the reliability of clock source is the basis to ensure the accuracy and precision of the time information of railway time synchronization network. So it is of great significance to do the study about the reliability of clock source to the realization of railway time synchronization. In accordance with failover principle, in this thesis, three levels master clock failover models were established by using Stochastic Petri Nets (SPN) first, and then the TimeNET software was used to check structure and analyze steady state of models. The analysis results showed that master clocks of all levels with high reliability can meet the requirements of clock source of railway time synchronization network.
