Research on Biomechanical Properties of Anterior Cruciate Ligament in the Reconstruction

In this study, aiming for the biomechanics of Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction of human knee, we analyze the relationship between the transplantation of tension and the lateral tensile force. we analyze the relationship between the transplantation of tension and the lateral tensile force through the quantitative model. By using the relationship between the lateral tensile force and the lateral displacement, the model can determine the tension of the ACL before the transverse pull being applied. At last the initial tension can be determined based on the relaxation compensation. Experimental works are also provided to verify the accuracy of the model. It shows the potential of improve ACL reconstruction.
