Energy-saving Regulators for Asynchronous Electric Drive Vector Control Systems: Design Procedure and Adaptive Control

The paper presents a design approach of energy-saving control laws for automated asynchronous electric drive systems. This approach is based on nonlinear mathematical models, analytical criteria for energy-saving control and modern methods of automatic regulators design. The specific features of energy-saving regulators design procedure are explored and adaptive control systems with an observer of external disturbance torque are considered. The results of designed regulators computer simulation and evaluation of its efficiency are provided.
